methodology
We scored 369 locations in the UK to uncover the most financially viable location to live. We used six different data points, and for each data point we used the most recent and reputable data available on the web. Because these data sources were organised in a variety of different formats, min-max normalisation has been used to standardise the data into a score between 0 and 10. The overall rankings are then determined by the overall average score. The higher the normalised score, the better the location for the category.
