Moneybarn is a Lending Awards finalist 2019

We’ve been selected as a finalist at the Lending Awards 2019 in the category of ‘Alternative Consumer Lender of the Year’!

The Lending Awards is the only award programme that brings together mortgages, commercial finance and alternative lending all under one roof. With the aim of celebrating excellence and success across the previous year, which is why we’re delighted to announce that we’re finalists.

2018/2019 has been successful for Moneybarn, with this being the 12^th award nomination our company and staff have received during this period. We also saw the highest number of new customers in a 6-month period since the company was first established in 1992. We believe this is down to our passion and drive to put the customer on the team. We focus all of our efforts into bettering the customer experience, to better serve and support individuals who are underserved by mainstream lenders.

To be consistently focussed on the customer’s experience, we initially embed this into the company culture at our all-staff monthly meetings held by Shamus Hodgson, our Managing Director. Here, presentations are given on all developments that are aimed to better the experience that our customers have, from the beginning to the end of their agreement.

We started developing our products and service by advancing the process of customer listening and feedback. This can be seen in our partnership with ClearScore. We integrated our affordability checking system with their technology, so we could offer certain ClearScore customers, pre-approved vehicle finance based on their account information.

We’ve also developed our ability to listen to our customers. We’ve done this by increasing the areas that our customers can offer us feedback, which now include social media platforms and the opportunity to email us directly. From the comments gained we can continue to better our service and ultimately better serve our customers.

The ceremony is due to take place at the Hilton London Bankside, London on the 12^th November and we are excited to see what the awards bring!
